Falconets Face Intense Home Crowd as Malawi Offers Free Entry for U-20 World Cup Qualifier
Nigeria’s U-20 women’s team, the Falconets, are set to encounter a raucous home crowd in Malawi after the Football Association of Malawi announced free entry for fans ahead of the decisive second leg of the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup qualifier.
The initiative aims to fill the stadium as Malawi looks to overturn a 2-0 first-leg deficit against the Nigerian side.
Having secured a comfortable advantage in the opening match, the Falconets enter the return leg in a strong position.
The Malawi federation confirmed that general admission will be free for regular supporters, while VIP tickets will be available for Ksh 10,000 and Ksh 20,000.
Malawi will rely on passionate home support to fuel a comeback against the West African heavyweight.
The winner on aggregate across the two legs will earn a spot at the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup, scheduled for later this year in Poland.
