Sabri Lamouchi will unveil his list of players called up for the 2026 World Cup on May 15, less than a month before the tournament kicks off, which is scheduled from June 11 to July 19, 2026.

The list must include 26 players. This FIFA decision allows an expanded squad to cope with the packed schedule of this unprecedented 48-team edition.

Tunisia will play two friendlies before the start of the tournament: against Austria on June 1 in Vienna, and then against Belgium on June 6 in Brussels.

In the group stage, the Carthage Eagles will compete in Group F alongside Sweden (June 15), Japan (June 21), and the Netherlands (June 26).

Tunisia will be playing in their seventh World Cup, following appearances in 1978, 1998, 2002, 2006, 2018, and 2022, where they were eliminated in the group stage each time.
